IARRACHT MAIGEANTA ÉIRE is the first all-female doublehanded “round Ireland” challenge.
The race is now under way and 2 days after crossing the start line, Pamela Lee (skipper) with Cat Hunt (co-skipper) have rounded Fastnet Rock.
The boat is a Beneteau Figaro 3 and the course a 700nm offshore clock-wise circumnavingation of Ireland. The initiative is the result of a partnership with the legendary Magenta Project.
